Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Enos Royer weighing a crate of chickens on his farm for a Philadelphia poultry buyer. There was a row between him and Royer as to how many sick chickens he could throw out of the lot he had agreed to buy. Royer won the day, and twelve sick chickens have found their way to the consumer
